Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Tip, the tipping service operated by Bellissimo, Inc. (“we,” “us”), doing business as Tip. By leaving a tip you agree to these Terms.
1. What this service is
We operate a number of free web applications. Tip is a tipping mechanism embedded in those applications that lets you send us a small voluntary payment.
A tip buys nothing. It does not purchase goods, unlock features, remove advertising, create a subscription to any application, or entitle you to support, service levels, or any deliverable. Our applications remain equally available to people who never tip.
Tips are not charitable contributions and are not tax-deductible. Bellissimo, Inc. is a for-profit entity, not a 501(c)(3) organization or any other registered charity. We do not issue donation receipts for tax purposes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract. You must be the authorized holder of the payment method you use, or have the account holder's permission.
3. Payments
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying you also accept Stripe's terms.
- We never receive or store your full card number. It goes directly to Stripe.
- Amounts are charged in US dollars. Your bank may add a foreign transaction fee we neither set nor receive.
- The tip box shows the exact amount to be charged before you confirm. If you choose to cover the processing fee, the displayed amount already includes it.
Paying by Venmo instead
The tip box also offers a Venmo link. It is an ordinary payment to our
business profile and is not processed by Stripe. If you use
it: the charge appears as VENMO on your statement rather than
the descriptor below, you get Venmo's receipt rather than ours, and a refund
has to be arranged by email because we cannot reverse it automatically. The
refund window in the refund policy still applies.
What appears on your statement
Card charges appear as TIP* followed by
the application you tipped, for example TIP* APP1.COM or TIP* APP345.COM.
We show you this string before you pay. If a charge looks unfamiliar, contact us at
sent.tip.web.app@gmail.com before filing a dispute — we will resolve it faster than a chargeback will.
4. Recurring tips
If you choose a monthly tip, your payment method is charged the same amount every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the subscription portal — enter your email, no account needed — or by emailing sent.tip.web.app@gmail.com. Cancellation stops all future charges immediately. See the refund policy for what happens to the current period.
5. Refunds
We refund any tip on request, for any reason, within 60 days of the charge. Full terms are in the refund policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use a payment method you are not authorized to use.
- Do not use the service to test stolen cards, launder funds, or disguise the origin of money. We report suspected card testing to Stripe and to law enforcement.
- Do not attempt to overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the tipping service.
We may refuse or refund any payment, and block any payer, at our discretion.
7. Emails you will receive
Tipping triggers transactional email only: a receipt, and for monthly tips a renewal notice and cancellation confirmation. These are not marketing. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address. See the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The applications and the tipping service are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any application will remain available, continue to exist, or retain any particular feature. Tipping does not change this.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the tipping service is limited to the amount you tipped in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes are posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Changes do not apply retroactively to tips already made.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the First Judicial District Court in and for Carson City, Nevada, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
